This policy applies to the Android and iOS application ‘Smart Calculator (AI)’ (package name / bundle ID com.smart.aicalculator, the ‘App’).
The App has no sign-up or login, and the developer does not collect any of the following:
The App uses the internet only for the AI Calculator (Section 3), exchange rates (Section 4), and ads (Section 5).
However, only when you use the AI Calculator, the questions you type are sent as described in Section 3. This is done solely to answer your request, not to identify you or collect personal information.
The following records you create while using the App are stored only on your device and are never sent anywhere.
No one, including the developer, can view these records. They are removed when you use the delete function in the App or uninstall the App.
Only when you use the AI Calculator, the following is sent to generate an answer:
The data travels as follows:
App → relay server operated by the developer → AI service provider
The relay server does not store your questions or answers. The only thing it records is the total number of requests per day, which is needed to keep the service running and contains no information about who asked what.
If a service error occurs, the error code and the error message returned by the AI service provider are kept in the server log to diagnose the problem. This log does not contain your questions or answers and is deleted once it is no longer needed.
Your questions are processed by the AI service provider, Groq, Inc., under its own privacy policy: Groq Privacy Policy (https://groq.com/privacy-policy/).
Please do not enter personal information such as your name, Social Security number, bank account number, or phone number in your questions. The AI Calculator is meant to help with calculations and does not need any personal information.
The App sends what you type as-is without filtering it, so if you do enter personal information, it will also be sent to the AI service provider. The developer cannot control what you choose to enter, so please be careful when writing your questions.
If you do not use the AI Calculator, none of the above is sent.
To get the latest exchange rates, the Currency Converter connects to an external exchange rate service (Exchange Rate API) once a day. It only downloads exchange rate data and does not send any of your information.
The App shows ads provided by Google AdMob (a banner at the bottom of the screen and an ad in the exit dialog). To show and measure ads, Google may collect and process information such as your device’s advertising ID, device and app information, your IP address, and your interactions with ads. The developer does not receive information that identifies you.

On Android, you can reset or delete your advertising ID, or turn off personalized ads, in your device settings (for example, Settings → Google → Ads).
On iPhone, the App asks for your permission before ads can use your device’s advertising identifier. You can change this at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. The App works the same whether or not you allow it.
The developer does not collect your personal information, so there is nothing for the developer to retain or delete. You can delete the records stored on your device at any time:
The App is not directed to children under 13, and the developer does not knowingly collect personal information from children. As described above, the developer does not collect personal information from anyone, regardless of age.
Because the developer does not collect personal information, there is no personal information to access, correct, or delete. You can delete records stored on your device yourself as described in Section 6.

서비스 장애가 발생한 경우 원인 진단을 위해 오류 코드와 AI 서비스 제공사가 반환한 오류 메시지가 서버 기록에 남습니다. 이 기록에는 질문이나 답변의 내용이 포함되지 않으며, 서버 운영에 필요한 기간이 지나면 삭제됩니다.

이용자께서는 이름, 주민등록번호, 계좌번호, 연락처 등 개인정보를 질문에 입력하지 않으시기를 권장드립니다. AI 계산기는 계산을 돕기 위한 기능이며, 개인정보 입력을 필요로 하지 않습니다.
앱은 이용자께서 입력하신 내용을 선별하거나 걸러내지 않고 그대로 전달하므로, 위 권고에도 불구하고 개인정보가 입력된 경우 해당 정보 역시 AI 서비스 제공사로 전송됩니다. 개발자는 이용자께서 자발적으로 입력하신 내용을 사전에 통제할 수 없으므로, 질문 작성 시 유의해 주시기 바랍니다.
AI 계산기를 이용하지 않으시면 위 전송은 발생하지 않습니다.
환율 계산기는 최신 환율을 받아오기 위해 외부 환율 정보 서비스(Exchange Rate API)에 하루 1회 접속합니다. 이때 환율 데이터를 받아오기만 하며 이용자의 정보는 전송되지 않습니다.

앱은 만 14세 미만 아동을 대상으로 하지 않으며, 아동의 개인정보를 고의로 수집하지 않습니다. 앞서 밝힌 바와 같이 개발자는 연령을 불문하고 어떠한 개인정보도 수집하지 않습니다.
본 앱은 특정 연령층을 대상으로 제작되지 않았으며, 개인정보를 수집하지 않으므로 별도의 연령 확인 절차를 두고 있지 않습니다.
개발자는 개인정보를 수집하지 않으므로 열람·정정·삭제를 요청하실 대상이 존재하지 않습니다. 기기에 저장된 기록은 6항의 방법으로 이용자께서 직접 삭제하실 수 있습니다.
